At OSCR we believe that quality of life for seniors can best be achieved in an environment which provides privacy, encourages maximum independence, promotes self-determination and choice, provides opportunities for relationships and purposeful activity, facilitates ties with the larger community and contributes to a sense of security and serenity.
OSCR's Supportive Living Services include dining, homemaking, laundry & linen service and healthy living program participation. These services assist seniors to live independently for as long as possible and allow OSCR to service seniors with a wide range of lifestyle, health care and personal need options.
Additional Services
All clients of OSCR Supportive Housing will also benefit from their inclusion in our Supports for Daily Living program, where they can discuss further needs with a Client Services Coordinator and access additional personal support. Community agencies provide on-site services, including OSR Pharmacy, St. Elizabeth’s Healthcare (medication management for those who are eligible), clinics including foot care, continence, dental, and many others. Your Client Services Coordinator can work with you to arrange your participation in these community agency services.
Application Process
To apply for accommodation in OSCR’s Residential Tower, please use our application form (this application is only for the Residential Tower/Supportive Living Tower at Oakville Senior Citizens Residence).
OSCR Standard Suite
These unfurnished, comfortable and clean rooms include a full private bath with safety features. Cable and phone access are available. Suites have lovely views of Bronte or Lake Ontario, and on each floor you will find a lounge, which is wonderful for entertaining family and friends.
OSCR Bronte Suite
These unfurnished, comfortable and clean rooms include a full private bath with safety features, as well as a kitchenette with a sink, mini fridge, and microwave. Cable and phone access are available. Suites have lovely views of Bronte or Lake Ontario, and on each floor you will find a lounge, which is wonderful for entertaining family and friends.
