OSCR held a Summer BBQ on Thursday, August 24th. The Food Services team prepared a delicious feast with all of the BBQ favourites, including slow roasted hip of beef, BBQ spare ribs, corn on the cob, salads, and other summertime treats.
OSCR staff were on hand to help serve up the tasty meal to our clients. Although the weather didn’t cooperate for an outdoor event, the Food Services team decorated the dining room with traditional picnic tablecloths, and staff were decked out in coordinating aprons. These added touches gave a seasonal ambiance to the summer BBQ.
Some clients invited their family members to join in on the fun evening, and they dined at our guest tables. This gave the opportunity to catch up with loved ones and share a meal together.
There was live music by Matt and Heather while everyone enjoyed the delicious meal. Once dinner was finished, some clients got up and danced to the live band, capping off a lovely summer BBQ. A great time was had by all!
